During the municipal council meeting of December 14, 2023, the town of Ouistreham, in Calvados, decided to transfer 13 plots of building land, held by the municipality for many years.

Abandoned for many years, some are on the seafront, priced from 100 euros!

You still have a few days to show up!

The town of Ouistreham, in Normandy, is selling 13 plots of land located on Pointe du Siège, following the abandonment of the project to double the marina of the coastal town.

Abandoned for many years, the town hall of the town of Calvados decided, during the Municipal Council on December 14, to sell them, from one hundred euros per square meter.

Big deal !

The 13 plots of land range from 306 to 489 m² and the notary office “Coquelin et Associés” in Ouistreham is organizing the sale.

But for such a low price, not everything is permitted.

Indeed, the restrictions are numerous.

Future constructions cannot exceed 15% of the land area, which means that for the smallest plot, it will not be possible to build more than 45 m².

In addition, the specifications specify that it will not be possible to establish your main residence there, to install a mobile home or to construct a building and the area, due to its location, could be affected by the risk of submersion in the coming years.

However, finding building land by the sea is so rare that potential future buyers are rushing to submit their offers.

171 were returned to the Coquelin et Associés study during the first morning.

But it is not the highest offer that will necessarily be the one that will be accepted by the town hall.

The municipal council will also choose the projects it likes the most.

And hurry, the last visit will be organized on February 28 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.!
