Senegal: tourism damaged by the political crisis

In Senegal, Saly is a seaside resort popular with European tourists.

From November to the end of April, many come to enjoy the sun and the fine sandy beaches.

But in recent weeks, some professionals in the sector have noticed a drop in activity.

According to them, it is explained by the political crisis that Senegal is going through since the announcement, on February 3, of the postponement of the presidential election by President Macky Sall and the deadly demonstrations that followed.
