The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said on Friday that Israel's continued criminal bombardment of citizens' homes in the Gaza Strip constitutes a continuation of the war of genocide and ethnic cleansing, after the occupation committed a massacre last night in the middle of the Strip, in which more than 40 Palestinians were killed, most of them children. And women.
Hamas added that the Israeli bombing of homes is the occupying entity's practical response to the pleadings against it in the International Court of Justice, to confirm to the international community that it does not care about human laws and values, as it put it.
Hamas called on human rights organizations around the world to document the crimes committed by the occupation army on a daily basis, to prosecute it and its leaders for the horrific killing they committed against children and defenseless civilians.
Hamas continued, "Trial of the Israeli occupation is necessary to protect the values of humanity that it tramples with a green light granted by the administration of US President Joe Biden, which objected to the Security Council's decision to cease fire for humanitarian reasons."
Since last night, the occupation has been bombing inhabited homes in various areas in the center and south of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the martyrdom of more than 60 Palestinians.
The Government Information Office in Gaza said that 40 martyrs and more than 100 wounded were killed as a result of the Israeli raids, which targeted 4 homes in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip, and 20 Palestinians were martyred in raids that targeted Khalifa Street in the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City, north of the Gaza Strip.
In a statement, the office held the US administration and the international community, in addition to the occupation, fully responsible for these ongoing crimes.
The office called on the countries of the free world to stop the genocidal war waged by the Israeli occupation army against civilians, children and women immediately and urgently.
