The Élysée assures that the Uprisings of the Earth were “neither invited nor contacted” and admits an “error”.
The Élysée admitted on Friday a communication "error" after having mentioned the day before the invitation of the environmentalist association Les Soulèvements de la Terre to a debate at the Agricultural Show, which provoked the anger of the majority agricultural union , the FNSEA.
“The Earth Uprisings were neither invited nor contacted. This was an error made during the press interview ahead of the event,” the presidency said on X.
