This was announced by Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia Dmitry Bakanov.

“The new order does not oblige carriers to collect additional information about passengers, in addition to what is indicated by the passenger when purchasing a ticket,” TASS quotes him.

Earlier, Kommersant wrote that the Russian Ministry of Transport had prepared a draft order, according to which, from September 1, carriers will be required to transfer bank card data, IP addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses and passenger account passwords to a single database.
