Medvedev accused Washington of not allowing peace to be achieved in the Middle East (European)

Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, warned on Thursday of the danger of a nuclear war with the West accidentally breaking out.

Medvedev said in an interview with Russian media that the delivery of F-16 aircraft to Ukraine may be one of the causes of a possible nuclear war.

Regarding developments in the war in Ukraine, he stated that Moscow does not rule out the arrival of its forces in Kiev to achieve the goals of what it describes as the special military operation that began two years ago.

At the beginning of the war that broke out on February 24, 2022, Russian forces reached the outskirts of the Ukrainian capital before they were repelled.

The Russian official considered that Kiev is “a Russian city ruled by Russia’s enemies,” and that what he called the Kiev regime must fall.

On another topic, the Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council said that the United States does not allow peace to be established in the Middle East.

Medvedev added that if Washington wants peace in the region, at least by creating two states, these decisions will be implemented.
