“A person who resigns is created for politics... Therefore, of course, all this can happen,” Medvedchuk said.
According to him, this often happens in the internal politics of Ukraine.
On February 9, Vladimir Zelensky dismissed Sergei Shaptala from the post of chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and appointed Anatoly Bargilevich, who commanded the defense forces, instead.
Also, Alexander Syrsky was appointed commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine instead of Valery Zaluzhny.
According to the Ukrainian “Mirror of the Week”, Pavlyuk will become commander of the ground forces instead of Syrsky.
