Émile Python is a wise, conscientious man, even a little too zealous according to those around him... As a child, it was he who revealed the stupidities of his classmates to the teacher.

When he is in the regiment, he is still the one who reports incidents to the adjutant.

How annoying Émile is... At 25, this man with an impeccable figure and red complexion got married.

A wife, children, a job: in theory, everything is going well for Emile Python.

But on a daily basis, he can't help but go through the accounts, check the gas receipts and everyone's honesty... How annoying Émile is!

In 1926, when he was 40 years old, Émile Python lived with his family on the ground floor of a small Parisian apartment for which he scrupulously paid the rent on the first of each month.

But he wants to move to the fourth floor, this time to have an unfurnished home.

To his great surprise, the owner of the building decides otherwise: this apartment, on the fourth floor, will be rented furnished, and with the furniture from the one on the ground floor!

A scheme that obviously displeases Émile Python.

He complained to the Prosecutor who appointed an expert to find out if the contract had been falsified.

No, says the expert, which then provokes the anger of the father of the family.

Emile Python begins to spy on him and intends to take revenge.

For the first time, he will commit the irreparable… to take justice into his own hands.
