“On February 22 at approximately 14:00 local time, seven Russian citizens were caught in an avalanche at a ski resort in the city of Gulmarg, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
One skier was killed and six others were rescued in a joint operation between the Indian Armed Forces and the regional administration,” he said.
According to Indianexpress, an avalanche warning was issued in all areas of the Kashmir region after heavy snowfall last week.
