Former Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno, who has become the new secretary-general of the Abe faction, has confirmed his intention to attend the Political Ethics Committee regarding the issue surrounding the political funding party of a faction of the Liberal Democratic Party. This is the fourth person who has decided to attend.

On the 20th, the Liberal Democratic Party announced that former Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Shioya, who served as the chairman and secretary-general of the Abe faction, and former Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications Takeda, who served as the secretary-general of the Nikai faction, were brought to the House of Representatives Political Ethics Review Committee regarding the issue surrounding the faction's political funding party. I informed the Constitutional Democratic Party of Japan of my intention to attend.



In addition, former Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Nishimura, who served as the secretary general of the Abe faction, has also confirmed his intention to attend the review board in order to fulfill his accountability.



Furthermore, as a result of further coordination within the party, former Chief Cabinet Secretary Matsuno, who also served as secretary general for the Abe faction, confirmed his intention to attend the review committee and informed the party executive.

The Liberal Democratic Party has set a date for holding a central public hearing, which is a prerequisite for a vote, at the House of Representatives Budget Committee, which is deliberating the new fiscal year budget bill, and says it wants to create an environment for passage of the bill by the House of Representatives, and will continue to make adjustments within the party.
