The Palestinian Red Crescent in Gaza confirmed on Wednesday that there had been deaths due to hunger and food shortages in the Strip, at a time when warnings were repeated internally and externally about the worsening of the crisis, in light of the scarcity of aid and the continuation of the devastating Israeli aggression.

The director of government information in Gaza, Ismail Al-Thawabta, said yesterday that the residents of Gaza have entered an advanced stage of famine. He added in an interview with Al Jazeera that only 9 aid trucks had entered 10 days ago, and he appealed to open the Rafah crossing immediately to bring urgent aid into the Strip.
