It is reported that a total of 319 projects were started in the city in the first quarter, with a total investment of more than 320 billion yuan, focusing on industrial construction, infrastructure, social livelihood, urban renewal, etc. At the same time, 112 projects in the Guangzhou Development Zone have started construction, and the country's first policy to fully support disruptive projects has been released. Focus on "Industry first, manufacturing industry establishes the city"
As a crisp whistle sounded throughout the construction site, Guangzhou's major projects in the first quarter of 2024 were officially announced to start construction. It is reported that a total of 319 projects were started in the city in the first quarter, with a total investment of more than 320 billion yuan.
Among them, there are 158 industrial construction projects with a total investment of 196.9 billion yuan; 73 infrastructure projects with a total investment of 22.5 billion yuan; 50 social livelihood projects with a total investment of 28.4 billion yuan; 38 urban renewal projects with a total investment of 73.4 billion yuan. It will lay a solid foundation for a good start and a good start for the city's economic and social development.
The newly started projects focus on "industry first, manufacturing city established". A number of representative major industrial projects have started construction in each district, showing the vitality of mutual promotion of industry and science and technology.
Taking the Guangzhou Development Zone and Huangpu District as examples, on the day of the event, the Guangzhou Disruptive Technology Innovation Center, the national core platform for disruptive technology innovation, cooperated with the Guangzhou Development District to build the Guangzhou Disruptive Technology Innovation Park in the Knowledge City. The planned construction area of the park is approximately 400,000 square meters. The project will be put into operation within 3 years after the actual delivery of the preliminary land. After the project is put into operation, the annual output value (revenue) of the company and the enterprises settled in the park will be approximately 700 million yuan.
Focusing on the planning and construction of the eastern center is a significant regional feature of newly started projects in the first quarter. The eastern center spans two national-level development zones, Huangpu and Zengcheng, and has a good development foundation and development advantages. It is understood that in the first quarter, a total of 160 projects were started in the Eastern Center, with a total investment of approximately 160 billion yuan, sounding the charge to accelerate the planning and construction of the Eastern Center.
In terms of categories, newly started projects focus on the mutual promotion of industry and technology. In the Guangzhou Development Zone alone, among the 112 projects that started construction that day, 64 were industrial projects in the fields of new generation information technology, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, new energy and new materials, with a total investment of approximately 53 billion yuan, accounting for more than 60%. It innovatively proposes "immediate access" pre-support for settlement packages. National disruptive special projects can receive up to 5 million yuan in supporting support when they settle.
