As Bloomberg writes, citing a source, France is finding it difficult to find funds for this assistance given the need to reduce government spending.

It is noted that the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance of the European country will be forced to redistribute current funds and find savings to finance the package promised to Ukraine.

As the interlocutor clarified, the Cabinet of Ministers currently does not have the opportunity to make changes to the budget for the current year, including in Ukraine.

Earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron said that the security agreement with Ukraine provides for Paris to allocate additional military assistance to Kyiv in the amount of €3 billion.
