The Ministry of Health in Gaza confirmed that 103 Palestinians were killed in an Israeli bombing of residential neighborhoods in the Strip, while the occupation army announced the evacuation of wounded soldiers who were injured in battles with the Palestinian resistance, which destroyed its vehicles in the past hours.

Al Jazeera's correspondent in Gaza reported that the number of martyrs following an Israeli raid on a house in the El Geneina neighborhood, east of Rafah, had risen to 8.

The correspondent also stated that 21 Palestinians were martyred and dozens were injured in a bombing by the occupation forces that targeted a house in the Hakar Al-Jamea area in the city of Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

He added that a number of missing persons are still under the rubble, and that residents are trying to extract them with their simple tools.

Al Jazeera's correspondent also reported that two people were killed and others injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house for the Al-Nuwairi family in the Al-Hasayna area, west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Resistance operations

For its part, the Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced that it destroyed an Israeli troop carrier with a shell south of the Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.

It also announced that it had targeted two Merkava tanks with Al-Yassin 105 shells in the same area.

The Al-Qassam Brigades also said that they were waging fierce battles with the occupation forces in the Al-Taqaddum axis south of Olive, noting that they had spotted a number of Israeli aircraft that had come to transport the dead and injured as a result of the clashes.

Evacuation of soldiers

This brings the number of military personnel killed since the Al-Aqsa flood and the war on Gaza on October 7 to 575 officers and soldiers, including 243 dead since the start of the ground operation on October 27 of last year.

Israeli Army Radio quoted military officials as saying that the army estimates that the ground operation in Khan Yunis is nearing the end. She added that the forces of the 98th Division will continue their operations during the coming days to deal with a few remaining targets in the region.

Israeli Army Radio stated that the operation at the Nasser Medical Complex is almost complete and excavation work is underway to determine the locations of the tunnels.
