State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin announced this.

“In the first reading, a bill was passed prohibiting citizens and domestic companies from placing advertisements on the resources of foreign agents,” the message says.

Volodin clarified that the ban applies to websites, blogs, and social networks. In addition, the bill prohibits advertising in the media of the resources of foreign agents themselves.

Earlier, the head of the State Duma Security Committee, Vasily Piskarev, said that quoting foreign agents in the media would be considered a violation if committed for advertising purposes.
