“New alpacas arrived at the Rosa Khutor resort from nurseries in European countries. The road to the Rosa Khutor resort took four days. To make the move convenient, a special road train was organized for the alpacas,” said Alpaca Park Operations Director Irina Chaikina.

New inhabitants of the park will undergo mandatory medical examination, spa treatments and quarantine for 30 days.

In October, the Leningrad Zoo showed a two-month-old baby alpaca, which was named Brownie because of its chocolate color.
