“This morning, in accordance with the decision of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, some employees of the Central Office of the All-Russian Society of the Deaf were detained,” the society’s website says.
Thus, among the detainees are VOG President Stanislav Ivanov, first vice-president Evgeny Bezrukov, vice-president, member of the VOG Central Committee, chairman of the Tatar RO VOG Venus Gaulston, member of the VOG Central Committee, assistant to the VOG President, chairman of the Novosibirsk ROOG Mikhail Bragin and former vice-president VOG Vadim Ivanchenko.
The All-Russian Society of the Deaf is operating as normal, the press service warned. There are no official comments from law enforcement agencies.
