“In 2022-2023 alone, the committee’s counterintelligence identified 114 attempts to recruit our citizens, including 37 military personnel,” BELTA quoted him as saying.
Tertel emphasized that 45 people who took the “path of betrayal” were brought to criminal charges.
“16 foreign citizens have been detained for espionage activities,” he said.
Tertel also said that Western countries are involved in sabotage activities on Russian territory and deliver perpetrators of crimes in transit through Belarus.
