It is noted that demonstrators completely blocked checkpoints on the Polish-Ukrainian border, and with them transport hubs and access roads to transshipment railway stations and sea ports.
At the Dorohusk checkpoint, hundreds of people arrived on tractors with bales of hay. There they also brought a symbolic straw doll in a wheelchair, which personifies the “death of the Polish farmer.”
Earlier, protesting Polish farmers poured two wagons of Ukrainian grain onto the railway tracks at the border crossing between Poland and Ukraine.
It was also reported that Ukrainian carriers began to block Polish trucks returning to Poland.
