The Lebanese Hezbollah and the occupation army exchanged shelling across the border a day after an Israeli bombing 50 kilometers away from it, which was considered a new escalation of the ongoing conflict between the two parties.

Today, Tuesday, Hezbollah announced that it had carried out 6 attacks against Israeli military sites off the southern border of Lebanon and in the occupied Shebaa Farms.

The party said that its fighters targeted the Ramim barracks with a “Burkan” missile, and also attacked Israeli occupation soldiers deployed in the vicinity of the barracks with missiles, causing direct casualties among them.

Hezbollah also announced that it bombed with missiles the Al-Samaqa and Ruwaisat Al-Alam sites in the occupied Shebaa Farms, in addition to attacking the Al-Marj site.

Israeli raids

For its part, Israeli warplanes and marches launched raids on the towns of Aita al-Shaab, Hula, Kafr Kila, and the vicinity of the towns of Yaroun, Blida, and Yarin. Israeli artillery also bombed the vicinity of the towns of Mays al-Jabal, Blida, Al-Adisa, Al-Wazzani, and Kafr Shuba in southern Lebanon.

The Israeli army said that its aircraft launched attacks - this morning - on two missile launching pads belonging to Hezbollah in the towns of Yaron and Marwahin in southern Lebanon.

He added that his fighters also launched raids on the party's infrastructure in Yaroun and Dhahira, and on two military buildings in Houla and Blida in southern Lebanon.

In a remarkable development yesterday evening, Monday, the Israeli army targeted the town of Al-Ghaziyeh, near the city of Sidon, about 50 kilometers from the border, and said it targeted “Hezbollah infrastructure,” resulting in 14 wounded, most of them Syrian and Lebanese workers, which was considered a development. New to the conflict between the two parties that has been going on for more than 4 months.

In a related context, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant said that what he described as the “equations” that Hezbollah thought it had imposed collapsed with Israel targeting sites in Damascus, Beirut, Sidon, and Nabatieh.
