This statement was made by ex-lieutenant colonel of the SBU Vasily Prozorov.

According to him, Syrsky is “a fairly competent military leader, distinguished by personal courage,” but he is “incapable” of making any independent decisions that “run counter” to the top leadership.

“That is, within the allocated field of free action, he will be good. But he will not be able to go beyond this framework,” RIA Novosti quotes Prozorov.

Earlier, Syrsky called the situation at the front very difficult and tense for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Zelensky also admitted that there are problems with recruitment and management in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
