This statement was made by Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov in an interview with the American magazine Newsweek.
“We are adamant: sooner or later peace agreements will be reached despite the efforts of the patrons of the Kyiv regime...,” the diplomat said.
At the same time, he emphasized that Russia does not refuse dialogue.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that Russia, even after using military means in Ukraine, tried to end the Ukrainian conflict peacefully.
Putin also said that Russia and Ukraine will come to an agreement sooner or later anyway.
