The PP achieves its fifth absolute majority in one of its main strongholds in Spain: Galicia is once again dyed blue after the party led by Alfonso Rueda won an overwhelming victory that will allow it to govern the Xunta for another four years. With

40 deputies

- two less than in the previous elections in 2020 - the

Popular Party

has won the vote of Galicians in the majority of the municipalities of the four provinces. "Galicia voted for 'sentidiño' and has made the right decision for Galicia and Spain," said Rueda after hearing the results and stated that "Galicia has sent a message to Spain: we do not want blackmail here."

In the following map you can consult the results by

census section

- one level below the municipality - to check the percentage of votes that the different parties have obtained.

The BNG has become the second force with a total of

25 seats

in Parliament, a rise that has occurred in part due to the setback suffered by the Socialist Party which, with 9 seats and 14% of the votes, obtains the worst result in its history.

The surprise of the night was carried out by Democracia Ourensana, which for the first time entered Parliament with a representative, while Vox, Podemos and Sumar were left out. The party led by Yolanda Díaz has not managed to convince even 2% of the total voters.
