Children are the largest number of martyrs of the Israeli aggression on Gaza (Anatolia)

Palestinian refugee in Canada, Samar Al-Khadour, revealed today, Monday, that the Canadian authorities issued the necessary permit to bring her sick daughter from the Gaza Strip two weeks after her death, following the repercussions of the disease that was exacerbated by the Israeli aggression.

Al-Khadour submitted a request to the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs several years ago to bring her sick daughter from Gaza to Canada, but her daughter died before the permit was issued, according to the Canadian channel CBC News.

The channel quoted Al-Khadour as saying that she had not been able to see her daughter (13 years old), who suffers from cerebral palsy and had been staying with relatives in Gaza, since 2017.

Al-Khadour said that her daughter took refuge in the church with her relatives when the Israeli aggression on Gaza began last October 7, noting the difficulty of displacement for her daughter, who was forced to take medicines and special foods due to her illness.

She confirmed that her daughter's needs were not met due to the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, and her health condition deteriorated recently, which led to her death. She explained that two weeks after her daughter's death, the Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a permit allowing her to be brought from the Gaza Strip.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has doubled the suffering of those with chronic diseases due to the absence of health care as a result of the destruction of necessary facilities and the acute shortage of medicines and specialized medical personnel.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza warned last January that 350,000 people with chronic diseases were not receiving their medications as a result of the ongoing Israeli war since October 7, in addition to the fact that a number of them were facing difficulty in obtaining their medications before the war due to the siege.
