  According to preliminary statistics, Macau recorded a total of 1.358 million inbound tourists during the Spring Festival holiday. Among them, 1.035 million were from mainland China, accounting for 76.2%, and 253,000 were from Hong Kong. The average daily number of visitors to Macau was approximately 170,000, close to the level of the same period in 2019 (171,000); the number recorded on the third day of the Lunar New Year (February 12) There were 217,541 tourist arrivals, which not only surpassed the highest single-day arrival record in 2023, but also the second highest record since single-day statistics were available.

  The data also shows that the average daily inbound tourists to Macau during the Spring Festival holiday were 129,000, which has exceeded the level of the same period in 2019, with a recovery rate of 101.3%; the average daily inbound tourists from Hong Kong and international markets were approximately 32,000 and 6,600 respectively, recovering to 97.8% and 78.5% in the same period in 2019.

  The Macau Government Tourism Office stated that in order to cope with the good customer demand during the Spring Festival, the bureau has made every effort to strengthen online and offline promotions, comprehensively display Macau's rich "tourism +" elements, and strive to expand tourist sources.
