Former Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen spoke out for the first time on the 18th, calling on the judiciary not to commute their sentences or grant amnesty, but to let the two men serve their full sentences in prison.

  Taiwanese Internet celebrities "Goodnight Chicken" (real name: Chen Nengchuan) and "Ah Nao" (real name: Lu Zuxian) recently directed and acted in Cambodia. They conducted live broadcasts and filmed deep into the fraud complex. They were hunted down, beaten, and "lost contact" for a time. The case also made it to the international media and was later confirmed to be a fraud.

  The Sihanoukville Province Basic Court of Cambodia ruled on the 15th that the purpose of "Goodnight Chicken" and "Ah Nao" coming to Cambodia was to make fake videos about human trafficking, abuse, rape and human organ trading. The two were charged with incitement. For the crime of causing social unrest, he was sentenced to two years in prison and fined 4 million Cambodian riel.

  Afterwards, many Taiwanese netizens left messages on the Cambodian police’s Facebook page, saying, “It’s really embarrassing to Taiwan” and “I hope Cambodia can give a heavy sentence, as only two years is too light.”

  Former Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen accepted an interview with the local Chinese media "Cambodia China Times" on the 18th and spoke out on the case for the first time. He expressed support for the court's judgment and called on the judicial department not to commute their sentences or grant amnesty to them, but to let them serve their full sentences in prison.
