“The RT school has reached the international level. Colleagues from ASEAN countries will be the first to take the course, and later we will offer it to journalists from Africa, India and other countries,” said Anna Kovtunova, head of the RT channel’s educational projects service.

Training in the International Journalism course will begin on April 1, 2024. The course consists of several blocks: “Live broadcast”, “Fakes and verification”, “News in social media”, “News writing”, “Filming and post-production”, “Documentary”, etc. RT correspondents, presenters and producers, as well as the authors of the channel’s digital projects and representatives of the RUPTLY multimedia agency will share their experiences with listeners.

“There is huge interest in RT's news content and curriculum in Southeast Asia. We saw this at the journalism workshops in Jakarta last year. Now, in addition to applicants from Indonesia, applicants from Vietnam, the Philippines and other ASEAN countries are sending us applications,” said Denis Bolotsky, head of the RT representative office in Indonesia.

You can apply for participation on the RT Academy website. The course participants will be the applicants who score the highest on the test task.
