Hours after the severe socialist blow in Galicia, the mayor of Barcelona, Jaume Collboni (PSC) has closed an agreement with ERC and is directing its first budgets. Of course, its final approval will depend on another party joining in and here Ada Colau will assert her strength and demand a municipal tripartite to give the definitive "yes."
This Monday, the mayor of Barcelona agreed with ERC on his Budgets for 2024 and plans to process them tomorrow in the extraordinary Economy Commission, after Barcelona en Comú, Colau's party, has said that it will facilitate this process, without specifying whether it will do so. with a "yes" or an abstention. A preliminary step to start processing and not see the accounts knocked down the first time.
This was announced at a press conference this Monday afternoon by the ERC spokesperson, Jordi Castellana, together with the councilors Jordi Coronas and Eva Baró, after the signing of the pact between Castellana and the deputy mayor of Economy, Jordi Valls.
With this pact, Collboni ensures for this Tuesday the support of the five ERC councilors, who total 15 with their councilors (the socialists govern with 10).
For his part, Colau has advanced that they will facilitate the processing of the accounts (without finalizing the vote), but has warned that it is an "ultimatum" to achieve a left-wing government pact -precisely of PSC, Barcelona en Comú and ERC- before final approval in the plenary session on March 22.
