The WhatsApp application has introduced a new feature that is sure to save some users from losing important messages, especially for people who are at risk of missing appointments and large events.

According to the British newspaper The Sun, the days of needing to search desperately in chats to find an important message are over, and now the application owned by “Meta” allows you to pin messages.

This feature will cause these pinned messages to remain at the top of the chat where you cannot miss them. This feature works not only with traditional messages, but also with polls and photos, and users can choose to pin the message for a specific period (either 24 hours, seven days, or 30 days), which is designed to remain pinned for seven days by default.

Group administrators do not have to worry about people randomly pinning messages in the group, as they can choose who has the ability to pin messages in the settings.

How to verify a message on WhatsApp?

To pin a message on WhatsApp, make sure you are in the correct chat, then press and hold the message you want to pin in a group or individual chat, and a logo will appear, allowing you to choose the duration.

You can then choose between 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days.
