The number of visitors increased by about 7.6 times year-on-year, and by about 21% compared with the same period in 2019.

  The booming cross-strait personnel exchanges have become a highlight of the Fujian port during the Spring Festival holiday. Border inspection sources said that with the continuous accumulation of policies and measures to benefit Taiwan, exchange activities such as root-finding, ancestor worship, ethnic religions, and folk beliefs in Fujian and Taiwan during the Spring Festival holiday have become more intensive.

  At about 17:50 on February 17, the "Xin Wuyi" passenger ship carrying more than 200 passengers departed from Kinmen and arrived at Xiamen Wutong Passenger Terminal. During the eight-day Spring Festival holiday, Fujian Port inspected nearly 100 cross-strait direct air passenger flights with more than 15,700 passengers, and more than 170 cross-strait "mini three links" passenger ships with more than 27,200 passengers.
