“The increase in freshly fallen snow overnight was up to 5 cm. Up to 2 cm of snow may fall during the day... Strong gusts of wind are possible. We ask citizens to be extremely careful on the street: do not take cover under trees and do not park cars near them,” the statement says.
It is clarified that municipal services are constantly working to clear the streets, with special attention paid to cleaning pedestrian areas, sidewalks, approaches to public transport stops, metro stations, the MCC, etc.
Earlier, leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, Evgeny Tishkovets, said that about 11-13% of the monthly precipitation fell in Moscow overnight.
