Last May, Berlin announced the delivery of 66 such armored personnel carriers, produced by the German concern FFG, to the Ukrainian troops. Deliveries began in October 2023, with a total of 48 vehicles delivered to Kyiv.

As the publication writes, the transferred equipment turned out to be completely unsuitable for the front and use in combat operations, because these armored personnel carriers have thin skin, and also do not have protection from artillery, rocket and mortar fire.

In addition, the publication states that state contract prices have been increased threefold: on the world market, APC armored vehicles from TAG cost about €200 thousand, and the German Ministry of Defense paid €600 thousand apiece for them.

Earlier, the Business Insider portal wrote that German Leopard tanks, British Challenger and American Abrams tanks turned out to be useless and did not help the Ukrainian Armed Forces change the situation at the front.
