The official representative of the head of Egypt, Ahmed Fahmy, announced this on his social networks following a telephone conversation between the two leaders.

“The presidents of Egypt and France emphasized the danger of any military escalation in Rafah and its catastrophic humanitarian consequences for almost 1.5 million Palestinians in the region,” TASS quotes him as saying.

It is clarified that the president of Egypt and France “issued a warning about the negative consequences of the expansion of the conflict at the regional level.”

Earlier, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said at a press conference that the Israeli military will continue to strike the Gaza Strip until all war goals are achieved.
