Palestinians amid the devastation caused by the occupation in Jabalia (Anatolia)
The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the Israeli occupation committed 9 new massacres in the Strip, killing 83 martyrs and 125 injured within 24 hours.
The Ministry explained that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza since last October 7 rose to 28,858 martyrs and 68,677 injured.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army bombed several sites in the center of the city of Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City, and the southern and eastern areas of the city of Deir al-Balah in the center of the Strip. It also targeted with artillery several sites north of Gaza City.
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that 5 people were martyred and others were injured in an Israeli bombing that targeted a house for the Masoud family, west of Gaza City, adding that at least 6 martyrs are still under the rubble of their house, which was destroyed at dawn today by an Israeli bombing.
Also, 5 people were killed and others were injured as a result of an Israeli bombing that targeted another house in the town of Al-Qarara, northeast of the city of Khan Yunis. The martyrs and wounded were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Al Jazeera's correspondent reported that a Palestinian was martyred in a bombing on a house in the Al-Jeneina neighborhood in central Rafah, south of the Gaza Strip, and an Israeli bombing at dawn today targeted homes in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
The Israeli occupation army continues to besiege Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, and is still detaining a large number of staff, patients and displaced persons in the hospital. It is also preventing the transfer of injured people in serious condition from the complex to other hospitals in order to save their lives, in light of the power outage and the depletion of oxygen and fuel.
Resistance operations
On the other hand, the Al-Quds Brigades - the military wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement - published scenes that it said showed an operation carried out by its fighters against the forces of the Israeli occupation forces east and northeast of the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.
In the Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera’s correspondent reported hearing sirens and the sound of explosions in the city of Ashkelon, where the Israeli defenses announced the interception of a rocket shell in the sky of the city without reporting shells falling in other locations, as she put it.
Since January 22, the Israeli occupation army has launched a series of intense air and artillery raids on Khan Yunis, and in the vicinity of the city's hospitals, amid a ground incursion by its vehicles into the southern and western areas of it, which prompted thousands of Palestinians to flee.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel has been waging a devastating war on the Gaza Strip that has left tens of thousands of civilian casualties, most of them children and women, in addition to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe and massive infrastructure destruction.
