It is clarified that on February 17, at Children's Sports School No. 3, during a demonstration of a weapon (an anti-tank grenade launcher) during a sambo tournament, the trigger was involuntarily pulled.
“As a result, the ammunition detonated, several people received minor injuries, they were provided with medical assistance, no one was hospitalized. According to this... a procedural review is being carried out,” the statement notes.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to present a report on the progress and results of the procedural verification of the circumstances of the girl’s injury during a physical education lesson at the Zlatoust school in the Chelyabinsk region.
