The memorandum on the joint plant was signed by representatives on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference under the Minister of Strategic Industries of Ukraine Alexander Kamyshin and Ambassador Alexey Makeev, the company said in a statement published on X (Twitter).
It is also reported that the company will produce a six-digit number of 155 mm “NATO caliber” ammunition per year.
It was previously reported that Rheinmetall intends to supply Ukraine with artillery shells worth €142 million in 2025.
