“Israel will continue to fight in the Gaza Strip until it achieves all war objectives. Our military pressure is working, we have reached areas that were impossible to imagine,” TASS quotes him as saying.

At the same time, he emphasized that the Israeli army intends to invade and conduct military operations, including in Rafah, “after the evacuation of the civilian population.”

“Those who discourage us from carrying out the operation in Rafah are inclining us to lose the war,” he concluded.

Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed the opinion that the Israeli army's attacks on the city of Rafah in the south of the Gaza Strip are a consequence of the duplicitous policy pursued by Western countries.

UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk said that the international community should not allow the Israel Defense Forces to conduct a military operation in Rafah.
