Today, Saturday, the Israeli army renewed its bombing of towns and regions in southern Lebanon, while Hezbollah announced that it had targeted occupation military sites and barracks, confirming direct casualties.

Al Jazeera's correspondent confirmed that 6 Israeli raids targeted the vicinity of the town of Al-Salhani, in addition to bombing on the vicinity of the towns of Kafr Hamam and Rashaya Al-Fakhar in southern Lebanon, in addition to two raids from two Israeli drones on two houses in the towns of Aita Al-Shaab and Maroun Al-Ras.

The correspondent also reported that two missiles were fired towards the Israeli site of Al-Samaqa in the occupied hills of Kafr Shuba in southern Lebanon, and that a bombing targeted the Israeli Baranit barracks.

The Israeli army announced its bombing of sites in Lebanon and Syria, and explained that yesterday, Friday, its planes bombed Hezbollah’s infrastructure and military compound in southern Lebanon, noting that the bombing of Syria targeted “a weapons storage facility belonging to the Syrian army in Daraa after launching shells into the southern Golan.”

On the other hand, Hezbollah announced that it had targeted, with a Falaq 1 missile, the Israeli Baranit barracks off the southern border of Lebanon and achieved a direct hit, pointing out that it had targeted with missiles the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms.

The party added, "We targeted with missiles a gathering of enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Dhahira site and achieved a direct hit," noting that it targeted what it called spy equipment at the Birkat Risha site.

Hezbollah also announced this evening, Saturday, that it had targeted the “Ramiya” site with appropriate weapons, confirming that a direct hit had been achieved.

This comes in the wake of the party’s announcement yesterday, Friday, that it had carried out five operations targeting the Al-Malikiyah site, the vicinity of the Dovev Barracks, and the sites of Zibdin and Ruwaisat Al-Alam in the occupied Shebaa Farms and Kfar Shuba Hills, in addition to a gathering of Israeli soldiers at the Ramia site.

Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip on October 7, following Operation Al-Aqsa Flood - launched by the Palestinian resistance - the Israeli army and Hezbollah have exchanged bombings and confrontations, leaving dead and wounded on both sides.
