According to him, the same can be said about plastic containers, so it is better to use such things irregularly.

“The environment has an impact on human health. This includes both ecology and household items. Salts of heavy metals, aluminum and plastic can enter the body and have a toxic effect. The effect of these substances will not be immediate; they accumulate gradually over a long time. However, in the end they can increase the risk of Alzheimer’s and negatively affect the functions of the reproductive, endocrine and nervous systems, as well as the functioning of blood vessels,” the expert said.

Chudakov noted that plastic is divided into safe and containing bisphenol. It is unacceptable for human contact. Such material can release molecules into the environment and enter the body through the respiratory tract, the mucous membrane of the eyes, contact with the skin, as well as through products that have come into contact with such a surface. Therefore, when choosing a plastic container for home use, you should pay attention to the fact that it does not contain bisphenol.

“Aluminum has a proven link to an increased risk of Alzheimer's. Of course, this is not the only and absolute reason for the development of the disease, but it can enhance other factors that provoke the disease. Aluminum salts can be found in toothpastes and deodorants. However, a safe dose is most often used in cosmetics, although such products should not be abused,” the expert added.

As for aluminum foil, it is also better to minimize its use: do not use it when baking dishes in the oven and do not store food wrapped in foil.
