Travel this weekend will concern holidaymakers from zones A and C. Traffic will be particularly heavy between the northern borders and the winter sports resorts of the Alps. These difficulties will be accentuated by the announced strike by controllers in transport.

While the controllers' strike threatens the departure of vacationers, Bison futé announces a complicated weekend on the road network. This Friday, in the direction of departures, the first slowdowns will appear at the end of the morning on the A6 motorway between Wissous and Chilly-Mazarin. These slowdowns will turn into traffic difficulties from the start of the afternoon on the A6, A86 and A6 motorways. They are likely to become much more significant by mid-afternoon.

A congested A6 motorway

Traffic should return to fluidity towards the end of the afternoon. Please note, however, that it will remain dense on the A6 motorway until the end of the evening. Bison futé also warns of difficulties in the Burgundy-Franche-Comté (A6) and Grand-Est (A4) regions.
