Emmanuel Macron and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky signed a bilateral security agreement on Friday evening to guarantee long-term civil and military support for Ukraine. France undertakes to provide up to “three billion euros” in additional military aid to kyiv in 2024. 

French President Emmanuel Macron and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky signed a bilateral security agreement in Paris on Friday evening supposed to guarantee long-term civil and military support for Ukraine, in the midst of war with Russia.

In this text, France undertakes to provide "up to 3 billion euros" of "additional" military aid to Kiev in 2024, after support which it estimates at 1.7 billion in 2022 and 2, 1 billion in 2023.
