On February 16, the international exhibition and forum “Russia” already held the V All-Russian ethnodictation “Russia is the House of Nations”, dedicated to the International Mother Language Day, the host was the pop singer Zara.
As Polezhaeva noted, in Moscow the dictation was written in Russian, and in 28 regions of the North, Siberia and the Far East - in the languages of the indigenous peoples living there.
“Today we are writing a dictation on the traditional values and guidelines of the people of our multinational country - our family values. This is what unites us... We plan to scale this action, dictation - to give the opportunity to write it in all the languages of our multinational country,” RIA Novosti quotes the director of the organization.
The text of the dictation was compiled by the staff of the House of Peoples of Russia.
“It is very important for us to emphasize our unity by writing a dictation about traditional values, about the peoples of our multinational country in Russian. At the same time, part of the dictation is devoted to the ethnocultural wealth, unique characteristics and traditions of the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation. We, together with the Association of Indigenous Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East of the Russian Federation, initiated this dictation, and already today a number of regions have written in their native languages, and often these are very rare languages,” Polezhaeva said.
Ethnodictation is carried out within the framework of the national Plan for holding the International Decade of the World's Indigenous Languages in Russia, as well as the implementation of the Fundamentals of State Policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values and the Year of the Family in Russia.
