In Senegal, the Constitutional Council declared on February 15, 2024 unconstitutional the law postponing the presidential election until December 15. The Council also canceled the decree of President Macky Sall which itself canceled the summons of voters for the February 25 election. , it is a historic decision: this Thursday, the Constitutional Council judged contrary to the Constitution the law which postpones the presidential election until December 15, 2024. In this same decision, the Council annulled the decree of President Macky Sall which annulled himself summoned the electoral body for February 25.
