Palestinian Bilal Abu Halima revealed new and exciting details about what happened during the arrest of his brother Hamza Abu Halima, who appeared naked and handcuffed in front of an occupation soldier a few days ago. He received great interaction on social media platforms and was nicknamed the “Lion of Gaza.”

In a statement to the Al Jazeera Mubasher website, Bilal said during the arrest of his brother in Gaza City that their father, Khamis Abu Halima, left the house raising the white flag, but was martyred by the bullets of the occupation soldiers.

The occupation also shot their brother Saqr's wife and two of his children, who remained next to their mother's body for two days until they were all martyred.

Regarding the dialogue that took place between Hamza and the occupation soldier, Bilal said, “The soldiers asked him: Are you afraid of us? He said to them: No, and why would I be afraid of you?”

Bilal added that the occupation forces took his brother Hamza and continued interrogating him, telling him, "If you belong to Hamas or any other organization, you and your children will be executed."

Bilal explained that his brother is now in Gaza after his release, but he is affected by the martyrdom of family members and refuses to appear or give any details about what happened during his arrest and abuse.

During the past few days, a picture of Hamza Abu Halima, the son of the Shujaiya neighborhood, was widely spread, sitting on a chair, wounded, naked and handcuffed, challenging with great courage and a sarcastic look a heavily armed Israeli soldier.
