This was announced by Secretary of State - Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Evtukhov.

As the Deputy Minister emphasized, in order for Russians to have free access to domestic newspapers and magazines, trade needs to establish productive interaction with publishers.

“All work on the sale of printed products is systematically organized, so all excuses from trade representatives that printed products should not be in retail chains are inappropriate,” said Evtukhov.

Chairman of the Presidium of the Association of Retail Trade Companies Igor Karavaev noted that leading Russian retail chains are ready to discuss the issue of expanding the range of printed press in stores.
