Previously, only one family member could receive compensation in the amount of 20 thousand rubles, Radio 1 reports, citing the press service of the regional government.
“If both spouses work in our healthcare, then in total they will be able to receive 30 thousand rubles per month. The first family member to apply will be assigned 20 thousand rubles, and the second - 10 thousand,” explained Governor Andrei Vorobyov.
According to him, payments under the new rules will begin to be calculated in March.
Earlier, the Chelyabinsk region approved the procedure for providing special social payments to medical workers.
