The Israeli song “Harbu Darbu” sparked a state of anger and resentment on social media platforms, after it topped the music and song platforms, because it included explicit incitement to exterminate the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

The song also called for the killing of supporters of the Palestinian cause, and designated names such as the American model of Palestinian origin, Bella Hadid, and the singer Dua Lipa, who are known for their stance in support of the Palestinian people against what the Israeli occupation army has been doing since last October.

The song was released by the Israeli rap duo, Nisia Levy, who served in the Israeli army for a year, with the role of Soroker, who previously sang about drugs. It recently topped the song charts in Israel and achieved more than 18 million views on YouTube since its release last November.

The duo incited against the Palestinian people through the song, which shows pictures of occupation army soldiers in a meeting with Herzi Halevy, Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army.

In statements by rap artist Soroker to Ynet, he did not deny that the song made them look like fascists who want to kill Arabs, but he considered the song a support for his country, he said.

Although the occupation army adopted the song, which topped the listening charts in Israel, the reactions were angry, including incitement and calls for murder.

A follower wrote, "No one dares to mention Dua Lipa. We Albanians protected you during the Holocaust. How dare you mention Albanians in your songs?"

The song attracted the dissatisfaction of some Israelis, and in a comment to the Times newspaper, a young man named William Youssef, from Tel Aviv, described the song as terrible and embarrassing.

Another complained that the song turned them into a group of fascists who want to kill Arabs and encourages crimes.

The incitement against British singer Dua Lipa comes due to her stance in support of the issue and her call for a ceasefire, as she called on US President Joe Biden to pressure the Israeli occupier to stop the war on the Gaza Strip.

In an interview with the American magazine Rolling Stone, Lipa said that the painful stories told by her parents about their escape from Kosovo to Britain under bombing, and the threat of death that was coming from every direction, are repeated in Palestine, where thousands die under bombing, and people are pushed. To a migration similar to the migration of her parents from their country.

Meanwhile, American model Bella Hadid, of Palestinian origin, continues her support for the Palestinian people.

In her post, she said: “My heart bleeds in pain from the shocks I see after seeing the effects of the air strikes on Gaza. I cry with all the mothers who lost their children, the children who cry alone, and all the fathers, brothers, and friends who have lost and will never walk on this earth again.”

In another post, she wrote, “I will not stop talking about the systematic oppression and pain that Palestinians face on a regular basis.”
