Early yesterday morning the Mossos d'Esquadra arrested a thief with a long police record who was hiding behind the refrigerator of a restaurant in Lérida.

four in the morning
yesterday, Wednesday, when a patrol showed up at a restaurant on Pere Cabrera street in Lleida where
the alarm had gone off.

The agents verified that the

and that the
cash register and some cabinets were open.
The Mossos searched the interior of the restaurant until they finally found the alleged thief hiding under a counter, behind the refrigerator.
He was a
40-year-old individual known to the police
for his long criminal record, who has more than 65 police records.
Given these indications, the agents arrested him and also charged him with
robbery with force
, on Thursday of last week, at a
pharmacy on Templers Street
, where its owners reported that the thief had broken the glass of the establishment and had taken the money from the box
The Investigation Unit of the Lérida police station considers that the perpetrator was the same thief caught in the restaurant and they do not even rule out that he may be accused of other recent events.
This Thursday, the detainee will be placed at the disposal of the investigating court acting as guard in Lérida.
