Weather: slightly disturbed in the north this Wednesday, mild in the south

From Brittany to Pays de Loire and Poitou to the northern borders and Burgundy Franche-Comté, the morning will take place under a still very cloudy sky and temporary rains, more frequent near the Channel and in the north-east, according to Météo-France forecasts.

In the afternoon, while near the Channel and the northern borders the clouds will remain compact and sometimes accompanied by rain, from Pays de Loire to Franche-Comté the weather will become drier and brighter. The southwest to south wind will be moderate with gusts up to 50 to 60 km/h near the Channel.

Up to 24 degrees in southern Aquitaine

In the rest of the country, after the rapid dissipation of the morning fogs, the day will be sunny with a sometimes hazy sky, a few low clouds will appear around the Mediterranean rim.

Minimum temperatures will range from 1 to 6 degrees from Lorraine and Alsace to the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean rim, with some frosts down to -1 or -2 degrees in the south-east, and 5 to 12 degrees elsewhere. The maximums will be increasing, with 11 to 16 degrees from Haute-Normandie and Hauts-de-France to the Grand-Est and Bourgogne Franche-Comté, 14 to 19 degrees further south, up to 16 to 21 degrees from Aquitaine to Occitanie, locally 22 to 24 in the south of Aquitaine.
