As the press service of the Ukrainian department reported, Kyiv’s position on this issue has remained unchanged: it calls for joint solutions to problems and search for compromises that will not harm the interests of carriers.

“The border blockade is damaging the economies of Ukraine, Poland and the EU countries. Therefore, together with our partners, we are taking all necessary measures here and now to prevent repeated protests from Polish carriers,” the ministry said in a statement published on social networks.

The Ukrainian side drew attention to the fact that under the conditions of the blockade organized by Polish farmers, carriers cannot plan their activities, which entails serious losses. It has not been reported that any agreements have been reached.

Earlier, Poland announced the creation of “flying brigades”, whose tasks would include monitoring grain from Ukraine.
